All of the couples we get to photograph are special, but when you get to photograph one of your best friends’ wedding, it just hits different!
The Gage Hotel sits on the edge of Big Bend National Park with distant mountains shadowing in the background. One of the first few things I learned about Ruby years back was that she dreamt of getting married at this charming hotel in the middle of nowhere, literally you will blink and you might miss it!
I have known Mark almost as long as i’ve known my husband. In fact, my husband was the best man at this wedding. So when he finally invited us on a weekend trip to meet this girl he had been seeing we were nervous to meet her, because we had never met any of Mark’s girlfriends. Turns out, she was the one!
They said their I Dos at a beautiful little chapel in the desert followed by an amazing tent reception at the amazing Gage Hotel Gardens.
